Changing your default Unix shell type
The normal default unix shell on a martnet account is the BASH (Bourne Again SHell) shell. If you would like to change your default shell type to something like, for example, TCSH, first check the correct path before you set it.

Type this for a list of all our shells:

ls /bin/lshells/

Then type this to set your shell type to TCSH:

chsh -s /bin/lshells/tcsh/

Bear in mind, we don't support TSCH and alot of our scripts are written specifically for BASH. But, if you are smart enought to have a shell preference, you might be smart enough to handle your self in your own prefered shell environment.
